The Baader vario 10x60 Finder is a multipurpose piece of equipment. It is a finderscope that also functions as a guider, a rich-field scope, and a telephoto lens. It is able to be mounted onto a tripod on its own, or mounted onto a telescope for more accurate viewing. The lens on the vario Finder is based on the Carl-zeiss C-lens and is tested to give minimal interference at high magnification.

9" Dovetail Plate

The TEC Dovetail Plate features a lightweight and effortless design. because of the short length, the plate is lighter than average and will not catch when the front baffle is retracted for storage or transport. The TEC Dovetail Plate is compatible with losmandy, WYO, and Casady Saddle systems and is installed with two 8-32 security screws on both ends of the plate to prevent slipping. The 9″ Dovetail option fits especially well with the APO140FL F/7 and pairs with the 9″ Carry Handle.

The TEC Carry handle makes transport and storage simple. It secures to the TEC Tube Rings with ease and does not impede the movement of the front sliding baffle. It is extremely lightweight; the 9" carrying handle weighs approximately 90g. The TEC Carry handle easily fits all of our telescope models. The 9" Carrying handle is recommended for the APO140FL and the 12" Carrying handle is recommended for all other models. When ordering, the Carry Handle length must match the length of the Dovetail Plate or it will not fit securely to the Tube Rings.

Tube Rings APO140FL F/7

TEC Tube Rings are extremely lightweight and durable, with a set of two rings for an APO140FL F/7 weighing under 750g. The Tube Rings are CNC machined for clean edges with black anodized aluminum that is scratch resistant. They are outfitted with adjustable stainless-steel latches and are able to fit the TEC Dovetail Plates, Losmandy Plates, and AP Plates for secure mounting. Each Ring contains an upper base, an adjustable latch, and a lower base. The upper base of the Tube Rings also connects to the TEC Carry Handles for easy transport.
